Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. Also, the close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |

The color you see in the picture may not be exactly the color of the beads. My monitor doesn't reproduce reds or blues accurately, so I am never sure if I have gotten the colors in the picture right. The likelihood is that you are using the same kind of monitor I am (LCD with T-panel technology), and in my opinion such monitors do not reproduce colors very well. What I see on my monitor is a red which is a little more orange than the actual beads look, and you may be seeing that also. The color of these beads is fire-engine red. Let me add that I fixed up the picture for these beads at night, and, as best I could, I made the beads look the way they look under my daylight-balanced lamps. But in real daylight, they probably look like a brighter red. |

I bought these beads in 8/15 thinking that they were darker than the beads I already had, but they were the same. However, I re-did the picture since the old picture wasn't accurate. |
