6mm Clear/Crimson Nugget Beads [50]
Cost per bead: |
5.4 cents |
Bead material: |
Glass |
Country of origin: |
Czech Republic |
Size/shape: |
6mm slightly oval beads with a diamond pattern on four sides that makes them look somewhat like nuggets. For a long time I called them barrel-shaped beads, but that really isn't accurate. |
Colors/description: |
Clear glass with swirls of translucent crimson red; some beads have more red than others. |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
The beads have a lot of bubbles in them, but I've never considered bubbles to be a serious defect. In fact, I find them charming. The beads are quite small and the bubbles aren't very noticeable. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
These aren't fancy beads, but I find them interesting. |
