The beads appear to be in good shape. |

Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. Also, the close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |

I've carried these beads for a long time. The picture was very old, so I re-photographed the beads when I reposted them in mid-2015. The old picture showed beads which were much more blue than the new batch. I don't know if the picture was wrong, or if the older batch had actually been more blue. I love green, and I think the new color is very nice. (It's also possible that my old CRT monitor showed the color differently from my newer LCD monitor.) The actual beads are a little lighter than the picture shows. For some reason, when photographing translucent beads against a surface, the beads come out looking darker than they actually are. It has to do with the way the light from the two lamps passes through the beads. I lowered the price by 20 cents when I reposted the beads in 2015. |
