When I first saw these beads on the supplier's site, I thought they were gaudy and crass, but somehow interesting. Finally I ordered them, and now I love them because they are gaudy and crass! The picture doesn't show any reflections, and that makes the beads look like they have a matte finish, but they are shiny. Added later: As I work with these beads, I feel that they are almost premium quality. They are made of opaque glass, which is more expensive than translucent glass. The colors, though loud, are highly original and blend together well. Their finish is very shiny. And there are no defects that I can find (no bubbles or pits or cracks). I have really come to love these beads. |
