Unfortunately, the subtle gold coating on these beads can't be seen in the pictures. The coating is not a gold luster coating, as many other of my beads have. It is shiny but not lustrous. It looks a little as if the beads were coated with gold-color powder. The facets on these beads are very good -- almost perfect. For many years, Czech fire-polished beads had defective facets, as if they had been cut with dull blades. It appears that those days are over. The quality is much better than it used to be. |
