Size/shape: 10mm (long) x 10mm (wide) x 4mm (thick) flat squares.
Colors/description: Opaque dark red with a heavy yellow-brown and tan picasso coating.
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: The condition of the beads is good.  I examined about a dozen of them closely.  Two have thin depressions in the surface which might be cracks, but the depressions aren't noticeable unless you look for them (I think it's unlikely that the beads will break).  On a couple beads the picasso coating was applied so heavily that it created a rough spot.  However, all beads with picasso coatings are "rustic", in my opinion, so extremely minor defects don't matter much.
How photographed: Under two daylight-balanced lamps.  Note:  Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped.  Also, the close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern.
Comments: The picasso coating on these red beads is quite heavy, so much so that they are more brown than red.  The coating is well done, in my opinion.  Each bead has a different look, giving the beads an eclectic, unpredictable appearance.  After not getting premium beads for a very long time, I decided to start stocking them again.
