The beads appear to be in good shape, although the picture revealed that a few beads have dirt in the glass. |
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. Also, the close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |
Comments: |
These beads are midway between a light peachy pink and a light rosy pink. The name of the color is "rosaline", which has traditionally been a peachy pink; but the beads have a little rosiness to them. A customer once told me that peachy pink jewelry never sold well for her, so I try to get rosy pinks; but rosy pink beads are not always easy to find. One thing I should say is that I photographed these beads in a bunch, which I don't usually do. When photographed in a bunch, translucent beads will appear darker and more colorful than they are. When view as individual strands, it becomes clear that the color is really very light. |
