Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead, but that can't be helped. If the beads are substantially round, the lights may also leave a smaller ring of light reflections around the edges of the beads (as has happened in this case). The close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |

I have a new office with incandescent light bulbs in the ceiling light fixture (I'll be changing them soon to something more energy-efficient). In the incandescent light, the beads look like a very yellow bronze. But under the daylight-balanced lamps, they don't look so yellow. Bulbs that give off a yellow light change the appearance of almost all the beads that I sell, yet that is what most people use in their homes. |
