10mm Blue/Amethyst/Jonquil Faceted Thick Coin Beads [15] (see Comments)
Beads per lot: 15
Cost per bead: 25 cents
Bead material: Glass
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Size/shape: 10mm thick coins with facets around the outer edge, about 6.5mm thick.
Colors/description: A mixture of translucent blue, amethyst purple and jonquil (light yellow).
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: Fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. In this case, the picture revealed imperfect facets around the outer edges of some beads. Since these are large beads, the defective facets may be more noticeable to you and your customers than defective facets on smaller beads.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: The blue in these beads is only as bright and intense as the picture shows when they are viewed in daylight. In artificial light at night, the blue is darker but still very rich. Important: Not all beads have all three colors in them. Some beads are mostly blue, whereas others don't have any blue at all, being entirely yellow and purple. I'm not counting this as a defect; it's just the way the beads are.
