Important: My picture is a failure because I am completely unable to reproduce the actual color of the beads. According to what I see on my monitor, the beads in my picture are a washed-out, slightly orange red, whereas the actual beads are a fire-engine red (but perhaps a little brighter). Truly, the color of the actual beads is much nicer than what my picture makes them look, and I'm certain you won't be disappointed. I included the supplier's picture, but that too doesn't show the right color. Again, the problem may be that my monitor can't reproduce the color I'm seeing, so it's possible that you are seeing it correctly (assuming that you have a better monitor than I do). (To be honest, I don't believe that the new LCD monitors reproduce colors as well as the old CRT monitors did. When I switched to a new LCD monitor about ten years ago, it became much more difficult to calibrate the colors of my pictures. If I am correct, then no one with an LCD monitor is seeing accurate colors.) It always seems to me that the price for dagger beads should be low because they have very little glass in them; but my supplier prices them as if they were 16mm in all dimensions, and I have no choice but to pay the price if I want to carry them. |
