G2226 |
Beads per lot: |
100 |
Cost per bead: |
2.5 cents |
Bead material: |
Glass |
Country of origin: |
Czech Republic |
Size/shape: |
3mm (from hole to hole) x 5mm (wide) nugget-shaped beads. Since they are wider than they are long, they could be considered unevenly shaped rondelles. |
Colors/description: |
Translucent cobalt blue. |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any defects. It's almost impossible to see defects in beads this small. |
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead, but that can't be helped. |
Comments: |
Digital cameras always make cobalt blue look sapphire, and that is happening with my new camera also. So I had to adjust the color in my photo editing program. I got the color close to what it really is, but not quite. Most of the beads in the picture are sitting on their holes, so you can't see what they look like when they are strung. When strung, they look like uneven rondelles. I can't string all of the beads that I have bought that are in this shape, so I am including a picture of the green luster beads, which I did string. That will give you an idea of what the beads look like when strung. |
