6x8mm Gold Nugget-Shaped Glass Pearls [50]
Style: |
G2220 |
Beads per lot: |
50 |
Cost per bead: |
5.6 cents |
Bead material: |
Glass |
Country of origin: |
Czech Republic |
Size/shape: |
6mm (from hole to hole) x 8mm (wide). It's hard to describe the shape, so you'll just need to look at the pictures. |
Colors/description: |
Glass beads (probably white) with a synthetic gold-colored pearl finish. |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
A very small percentage of beads will be missing some coating around one hole (I lowered the price 20 cents for that reason). Synthetic pearl coatings are fairly soft, so it is never certain how long they will last. Certainly they'll last for years, and sometimes they'll last for decades. |
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead, but that can't be helped. |
Comments: |
Unfortunately, my new photograph technique (of using two lamps) leaves two very obvious bright spots on these beads, but you can nonetheless tell from the pictures what they look like. I like these beads, which I got on sale (yay!), and I should have gotten more of them. I call the shape "nugget", but the supplier calls them "potato" shaped. |
