Translucent medium topaz with loose black stripes. |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
The stripes running through the beads are loose and somewhat unpredictable. Sometimes they look nice and neat, and sometimes they don't. Sometimes they are broken. Many beads have surfaces that show minor defects (such as slight indentations), but the defects are extremely minor and not noticeable unless you look for them. In general, I feel that the condition of the beads is good. |
How photographed: | Under two daylight-balanced lamps. (Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped.) |
Comments: |
I definitely like these beads, although I wish the stripes were a bit more uniform. One thing I can't tell you is whether the beads will hang down, as they should, or whether they will stick out. Please let me know if they don't hang properly. The beads are dusty. You'll need to rub the dust off before using them. |
