|
Colors/description: |
Glass beads (probably white or clear) with a synthetic pink coating with brown speckles. I believe, although I'm not sure, that the coating has been heated ("fire-polished") to make it hard, as it seems harder than most polymer-type coatings.
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated).
|
Defects: |
The quantity of speckles varies from one bead to the next, and even varies from one side of a bead to the other side. I don't really consider this a defect, but it's something to consider.

How photographed: |
Under a lamp with a daylight-balanced bulb.

Comments: |
I carried speckled coated beads from another supplier once, and I really loved them. These beads are from a new, higher-priced supplier, which is why they are so expensive.
