Defects: |
I eliminate seriously defective beads before shipping. However, some windows may be smaller than standard, and those beads are not eliminated. (If you enlarge the picture above, you'll see a few such beads; the bead at the very top is an example.) I also eliminate beads with scratches, cracks, partially polished windows, large spots of picasso coating on the windows, and large bubbles in the glass. However, I don't count very small pits, small nicks, or small spots of picasso coating on the windows as defects. If you receive any beads with serious defects, that means that I overlooked them, and you should contact me for a partial refund. Added later: While working with these beads, I noticed that some of them are a little undersized. I didn't measure them, but I estimate that the undersized ones are 11mm to 11.5mm. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
The alexandrite color of these beads is the lightest that I have ever seen (alexandrite beads appear light blue or violet in some kinds of light, and rosy pink in other kinds of light). The light blue is barely noticeable, and the pink is very light. |
