My picture of these beads isn't very good. Very light beads like this are hard to photograph, especially since I'm not photographing them on a darker surface, which I should. The actual beads have a slightly richer color, and the actual pink is a little warmer (not so violet as the picture makes them look). However, the problem isn't entirely with my picture. I've noticed that when bright light is shining on these beads, the beads look washed out and therefore less colorful. When making pictures, I always show the beads the way they would look in bright light. To make a long story short, I think the actual beads look better than they look in the picture. One more thing: The supplier calls these "rose alabaster" beads. I kept the term "alabaster" (though it makes the beads sound more interesting than they are) because "milky" wasn't quite accurate, and "opaque" also wasn't quite accurate (because of the clear seam in each bead). |
