My picture is not very good because it doesn't convey the color accurately. Right out of the camera, the beads appeared to be a bright orangey red. In actuality, they are not orangey at all, so I shifted the color in my photo-editing program. However, they still didn't come out quite right. The picture shows the beads not quite as dark as they get in some circumstances, but also not as bright as they appear in daylight. Also, I feel that I didn't get the shade exactly right. These are "chameleon" beads, meaning that their hue changes with the light source. In daylight, they are approximately the color of fresh blood. However, in fluorescent light at night, they become very dark (I haven't looked at them in incandescent light). I very rarely find beads which darken in bright lamp light as these beads do. I bought these beads from a new supplier with higher prices, so my price is about 50 cents higher (per lot) than I would ordinarily charge. |
