Size/shape:

14mm (long) x 10mm (wide) x 7mm (thick) 'sliding diamonds'.  The shape is hard to describe; it is like a diamond which has been stretched in two dimensions.

Colors/description:

Translucent medium olive green.

Hole size:

1mm (estimated).

Defects:

The holes are a little rough on these beads, meaning that they have a "frosty" look.  The hole openings themselves are also a little rough.  The glass around the hole openings is angled which makes the beads overlap slightly when they are strung together.

Comments:

I carried many 'sliding diamond' beads in the early days of my business.  I stopped carrying them because they all came in translucent colors, and I felt that they weren't very sophisticated.  However, the shape is interesting, and I am in need of larger beads.  The picture is from 2003, and I think I could do better today, but it is accurate enough.  The problem with the picture is that it doesn't show many beads straight on, so it is hard to see just how wide they are.  My price is the same as it was in 2003.  The supplier's price has gone up (considerably!) since then, but my markup has decreased.  Note:  In February, 2016 I lowered the price by 40 cents.
