Size/shape:  6mm (long) x 4mm (wide) teardrops with the hole through the narrow end.

Colors/description:  Milky medium topaz or dark beige (see Comments below).
 
Hole size:  1mm (estimated).

Defects:  I originally posted these beads saying that up to 10% had cracks, pits or malformations.  However, as I have handled the beads, I have noticed almost nothing wrong with them.  I think that what I identified as cracks were actually seams, which are not defects.  As for the pits and malformations, there are very few of those.  I reduced the price 5% (from $4.00 to $3.80), and I think that's enough.

How photographed:  At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:  These beads look a little more opaque in artificial light than in daylight.  The brighter the light is, the more you can see into them.  The previous batch of milky topaz from the supplier was much lighter and more opalescent.  I actually like this darker color (I like both colors, actually).  I could just as well have called these beads "milky beige", but in bright light they have a richness that beige doesn't have (and which topaz does have).  The picture shows them in daylight.  Since this shade of milky topaz is darker than the shade of the previous batch, I gave them a new number.
