A small percentage of beads have one or two specks of black dirt in the glass. I am eliminating those beads when I see them, but I probably won't see all of them. I have set the price for these beads pretty low, so if you happen to get one or two beads with dirt, you have already been compensated. I'll do my best to eliminate all the bad beads. Besides the occasional bead with dirt, the beads look pretty good. To the naked eye, I can see some mold lines, but they are not very prominent. If I use a magnifying glass, some very small defects can be seen, but they are not major. |

These are not high-quality beads. There is nothing sophisticated or fine-looking about them. I have reason to believe that they are somewhat old, meaning slightly "vintage"; but beads that were made 10-20 years ago are not any better than modern beads. These beads will be great for macrame or any other application where a large hole is needed. |
