I haven't noticed any significant defects; the beads seem to be well formed.

Comments:

For a long time I was calling these beads "fuchsia", but then decided they aren't dark enough for that.  Please note that the picture is old and shows them to have a richer color than they actually have.  I do believe that these are nice beads, but just not as richly colored as the picture indicates.  Also, these are not grade A cat's eye beads (I bought them by mail and didn't know what I would get).  The very best cat's eye beads are opaque and have more pronounced striations.  However, I still think they are nice.  (I keep putting the beads down but then keep saying they are nice -- really, they're nice.)
