A customer requested this color (although not these specific beads). I don't like the seam in the middle, a common defect in Czech beads (it has something to do with the way the beads are poured into the mold). In the past I didn't call the seam a defect, but now I am. (But note that since every bead has the seam, I haven't lowered the price.) However, the seam gives the beads a particular look, and your customers may not view the seam as a defect.
Please also note that the price is high for several reasons: I got these beads from one of my more-expensive suppliers, a supplier which does not give me a discount. Also, the dollar continues to be weak, and that is driving prices up. |
