These are wonderful beads when you look at them close-up. The problem is that when you look at them from a distance, all the wonderful colors meld together and the beads just look dark green. Some beads appear to have a dark-brown picasso coating, while others have a silver-oxide picasso coating. Silver-oxide is the original and best-quality picasso coating, and I am happy to see that they are still using it (because it has real silver in it, it is expensive). If all picasso beads came with a silver-oxide coating, I'd be ecstatic. (If the coating on these beads isn't silver-oxide, then they have done a good approximation of it.)
