My supplier calls this color emerald, but it looks more like teal to me (greenish-aqua). The Czech suppliers often call teal emerald. My camera made the beads look aqua, so I had to shift the color in my photo-editing program, but it came out well. I honestly don't know how they make these beads. The aqua color appears to be applied to the surface of the clear beads, but the aqua portion looks like it's made of glass (i.e., it doesn't look synthetic). Please note that the actual beads are a little darker than my picture indicates (i.e., the aqua portion is a darker aqua), but only slightly. |
