Defects: |
I haven't noticed any significant defects. However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. In this case, however, I would say that the imperfections are a little greater than usual. You can see that some of the facets were cut with worn blades (because a worn blade will leave ridges in the facets). However, I have carried worse, and the beads still look nice. |

This is one of those rare cases in which the beads look better in the photograph than they look in real life. I'm not saying that they aren't nice beads -- they are -- but they don't look as fabulous to me as they did many years ago. I am pretty sure that they are from the same batch as the earlier beads. Perhaps my standards have just gone up. |
