2x4mm Brown Iris Rondelle Beads [100] (see Comments)
Style: G1866
Cost per bead: 2.6 cents
Bead material: Glass
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Size/shape: 2mm (thick) x 4mm (wide) rondelles (tire-shaped beads) with the hole through the middle.
Colors/description: The brown iris coating is a somewhat metallic brown with other colors mixed in, mainly purple and blue. I say "somewhat metallic" because it doesn't look like real metal.
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: The beads appear to be in good shape.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: The word "iris" essentially means "multicolored", and is used to describe both light and dark Czech beads with a multicolored coating. Of the dark iris colors (blue, green, brown, purple), green is my favorite; but brown is nice also. IMPORTANT: This particular batch of brown iris rondelles are a little dull in appearance (for some reason, the dark iris colors sometimes come out looking dull). If you want a shiny dark-brown rondelle, I suggest you get the G1820 beads. Also, when I was dividing the beads into lots, I found an extra bead on my desk when I was done. That means that one of the lots has 99 beads in it instead of 100 beads. Sorry, but such mistakes sometimes happen.
