Size/shape: |
7mm (thick or long) x 10.5mm (wide) rounded rondelles with facets around the outer edge, and the hole running through the center. A rondelle is any round bead which is wider than it is long, sort of like a tire or disk. In the case of these beads, the shape is chubby and round, with facets around the outer edge.
|
Colors/description: |
A mixture of opaque colors: beige and brown umber.
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated).
|
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any defects, but all fire-polished beads have one or two imperfect facets. In the case of these beads, I don't think any imperfections will be noticeable.
|
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. Also, the close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern.

Comments: |
I have carried these beads in a smaller size for a very long time. I like them, but they sold slowly. The newer beads are supposed to be 11mm wide, but most of them measue around 10.5mm.

Caleb's notes: |
These were sent to me by mistake when I ordered other beads. I like them, so kept them, though the smaller version sold slowly.
