I got these beads because they were inexpensive (I like it when I can offer my customers more "bang for the buck"). However, the beads are so dark that they almost look black. Basically, in some kinds of light, the beads will look black; and in some kinds of light, the beads will look almost black with the slightest hint of deep red; but when held up to the light, a deep, beautiful red can be seen. My picture is not the best. First, it has those two obnoxious light reflections from the lamps. Second, it reveals almost no color (even though I used a tool in my photo-editing program called "Vibrancy", which is supposed to brighten the colors). Also, the beads look somewhat dull (but they aren't -- they are very shiny). I may choose to re-photograph them in natural daylight at the window, but I'm not sure that will produce better results. |
