These beads are much darker than most tanzanite beads are, almost black. When the Czech manufacturers first started to make tanzanite-colored beads, they were often a bluish purple which I found very pleasing. Now, however, they just look amethyst (i.e., a reddish purple). However, it is still a more pleasing color than the traditional amethyst color, which tends to be grayish. |
