"Bronze Illusion" is the name that the supplier has given these beads. If these beads were made of black glass with a heavy bronze coating, they would simply look like bronze-colored beads. But the fact that the inner glass is sapphire blue creates an interesting effect. In normal use, the beads appear to be bronze; but when they are held up to the light, a bright sapphire blue can be seen. The fact that blue can be seen in them from time to time adds an interesting effect. These beads were pretty expensive -- not as expensive as the beads from my premium suppliers, but more than I usually pay. That's why my price is so high. |
