Size/shape:  3mm (thick) x 6mm (wide) tire-shaped rondelles with facets around the outer edge, and with the hole through the center.

Colors/description:  Clear glass with a coating sprayed on one side (i.e., on one of the flat sides that sits against the adjacent bead; I'm saying it this way because sometimes I use the term "side" to describe the outer edge of the bead).  The coating is unusual.  When the beads are strung, the coating looks like thin lines of black (or perhaps deep brown) with little spots of gold or amber visible here and there.  But when viewed directly, the coating looks metallic blue.  Since the beads are photographed strung, it isn't possible for you to see the blue in the picture.  I've never seen a coating quite like this before.
 
Hole size:  1mm (estimated).

Defects:  I haven't noticed any significant defects.  However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

How photographed:  At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:  As stated above, the  coating is unusual.  If you string them so that the colored sides are up against other beads, they simply look clear with black.  But if you string them so that the sides of the beads show (I'm not sure how you'd do that), they will look blue.
