Size/shape: 5mm slender ovals with angular sides, a total of 6 sides altogether.

Colors/description: Translucent bluish purple (please see comments below).

Hole size: 1mm (estimated).

Defects: The beads appear to be in good shape.

How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.

Comments: I have noticed that Tanzanite purple beads can look more or less blue, depending on the light source. In daylight, they look more blue, whereas in fluorescent light, they look almost like amethyst purple (which is more reddish).
