6mm Gold-Colored Round Glass Pearls [50]
Style: G1927
Beads per lot: 100
Cost per bead: 6.8 cents
Bead material: Glass
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Size/shape: 6mm round (spherical).
Colors/description: Glass beads, probably white, with a synthetic lustrous gold coating.
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: The coating on Czech pearls is fairly thin, and I don't know how durable it is. Also, inevitably a few pearls are be missing some coating around one of the holes (a common defect with Czech coated beads). A few pearls may also have some anomalies in the coating, such as bumps, indentations or a bit of dirt. I have written a special page about glass pearls and other coated beads; please click here to read it.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: At the time that I am posting this, I carry another shade of 6mm gold pearls (G933 -- see Related Products). This shade is less intense and more subtle than the other color. I consider this color to be more sophisticated. The other beads are a little crass-looking compared to these.
These beads are more expensive because I get them from one of my more expensive suppliers.
