6mm round (spherical). |
Colors/description: |
Opaque dark red with a mottled brown and olive green picasso coating (there's also a little gray in the coating). |

1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
The beads appear to be in good shape. |
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. The close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |

These are not the nicest red picasso beads I have seen. To me, they look rather dull. The best picasso coatings are actually made of silver oxide (silver turns many interesting colors when it oxidizes), but these beads have a non-silver coating which is (to be honest) an imitation of silver oxide. Even so, the beads aren't ugly. Maybe my standards are just too high. |
