Size/shape: |
Unevenly shaped round beads (they could be called Baroque- or nugget-shaped) with facets around the outer edge. They are 8mm from hole to hole and 7mm wide. |
Colors/description: |
A mixture of translucent plum-colored glass (which I sometimes call amethyst purple) with milky light amethyst glass; there is a brown picasso coating on the unfaceted portions of the beads.
|
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
I haven't noticed any significant defects. However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
These beads are dark and moody. My picture shows them the way they look in bright light. In low light, they look quite dark and not at all colorful. They are the same type of beads as the F525 beads, but unlike many of the other colors, these are dark. Fortunately, however, I got them for a lower price, so their price is slightly lower (nonetheless, they are still expensive).
