6mm (thick) x 9mm (wide) faceted rondelles; a rondel is any round bead which is wider than it is long. (Please note that many beads are 8.5mm wide rather than 9mm.) |

Opaque light lavender with a yellow-brown picasso coating on the smooth portions of the beads around the holes. The lavender color is very light, almost white. Each bead has a seam in the middle which is slightly darker than the surrounding glass. |
Hole size: | 1mm (estimated). |
Defects: | I haven't noticed any significant defects. However, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. |
How photographed: | At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
I'm not sure how attractive this combination of colors is (lavender white and yellow-brown), but the beads certainly look interesting. The supplier's price was very high, thus I have to charge a lot for them. Faceted rondelles have traditionally been very expensive. |
