I eliminate seriously defective beads before shipping. However, some windows may be polished at a slight angle, or be smaller than standard, and those beads are not eliminated. I eliminate beads with cracks, deep or long scratches, partially polished windows, large pits, large spots of picasso coating on the windows, and large bubbles in the glass (if the glass is translucent). However, I don't count very small pits, small nicks, very shallow scratches that are hard to see, or small spots of picasso coating on the windows as defects. If the beads are translucent, I don't eliminate beads with rough or frosty-looking holes running through them. Some beads may have gotten picasso coating inside the holes, making the holes look dark, and I don't count those as defective. If you receive any beads with serious defects, that means that I overlooked them and you should contact me for a partial refund. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |

I was sent these beads by mistake from the supplier. I wouldn't have ordered them because I already carry a yellow-topaz rectangle, but I decided to keep them. |
