Blue-Green Picasso Mixed Beads [25] (see Comments)
Style no.: | G2012 |
Beads per lot: |
25 |
Cost per bead: |
15.2 |
Bead material: |
Glass |
Country of origin: |
Czech Republic |
Size/shape: |
A mixture of shapes and sizes ranging from about 6mm to 11mm. The mix includes bicones, shells, bevelled ovals, pinched ovals and tablet-shaped beads. |
Colors/description: |
Mostly blue beads with a green picasso coating, although the pinched ovals have a brown picasso coating. |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
A small percentage of beads have pits. I am already selling these beads at a low markup, so I didn't take anything additional off because of the pits. Also, the picasso coating looks a little sloppy to me (although that's the nature of picasso coatings). |
How photographed: | At the window in natural daylight. |

I have to be honest, I think I made a mistake when I purchased these beads. They were 20% off, but I didn't notice that even with 20% off, they were very expensive. In order to keep the price somewhat reasonable, I am taking a smaller markup than usual (but the price is still pretty high). Also, I have seen more sophisticated picasso coatings than these beads have. Even so, I still think they are pretty nice. It's just that at this price, they should be nicer. Important: Without realizing it, I received two different batches of beads, the one pictured (which has underlying beads that appear to be all white and blue) and a batch of beads that includes dark red beads with a green picasso coating. I have run out of the original batch, and I am now selling the lot that includes dark-red beads. Because of the time and effort involved, I am not going to take a new picture. |
