8mm Baby Blue Picasso 3-Cut Round Beads [25]
Style: G1925
Beads per lot: 25
Cost per bead: 16.8 cents
Bead material: Glass
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Size/shape: 8mm round with 3 facets cut around the middle.
Colors/description: Opaque baby blue beads (with a slight seam in the middle which is a slightly darker shade of blue ) with a grayish-brown mottled "picasso" coating on the round portions (I think there's a little green in the coating).
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: These are fire-polished beads (i.e., the facets were made shiny by heating the surface until it turned molten). Fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets. In this case, the vast majority of beads have one facet which is not perfectly flat and sometimes a little dull. Because they were so expensive, and because they are so attractive (if you don't examine the facets closely), I haven't lowered the price. You'll have to hope that your customers are not perfectionists.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: These beads are really gorgeous. It's just too bad that most beads have an imperfect facet. You won't notice it unless you look for it.
