Cost per bead: |
3 cents |
Bead material: |
Glass |
Country of origin: |
Czech Republic |
Size/shape: |
4mm round (spherical). |
Colors/description: |
Glass beads (probably white) with a reddish-brown lustrous synthetic coating. |
Hole size: |
1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
The coating on Czech pearls is fairly thin, and I don't know how durable it will be. Also, inevitably a few pearls will be missing some coating around one of the holes (a common defect with Czech coated beads). A few pearls may also have some anomalies in the coating, such as bumps, indentations or a bit of dirt. I have written a special page about glass pearls and other coated beads; please click here to read it. |
How photographed: |
At the window in natural daylight. |
Comments: |
Copper has many different shades, and these copper-colored beads are not as red and bright as other copper-colored beads I have carried. The supplier calls them copper-colored, so I am using that designation also. |
