Size/shape:  2mm (thick) x 4mm (wide) tire-shaped beads (or disks) with the hole through the center.

Colors/description:  Jet black with a matte finish.
 
Hole size:  1mm (estimated).

Defects:  The beads appear to be in good shape, although small beads are prone to more malformations than larger beads (meaning that an occasional bead may be malformed).

How photographed:  At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:  Important:  The last time I stocked these (in April, 2013), I noticed that the new beads aren't very matte.  They aren't as shiny as the regular 2x4mm black rondelles, but they aren't very matte either -- I would call them "semi-gloss" (to take a word from the world of paints).  If you use these as spacers, they won't shine like the regular beads, but they will shine a little.
