The beads appear to be in good shape, though some are fatter than others. Variation in size and/or shape is more common with small beads than large beads.

First, please note what I said above in Defects (about the size). The finish on these beads is not as matte as some matte beads. In fact, when I was handling them, they looked almost like regular beads, but without the normal shine. Personally, I like it one way or the other: Either the beads should be very matte, without any gloss, or they should be very glossy. Half-way between matte and glossy just makes them look like they aren't well made (since well-made non-matte beads should be shiny).
