4mm Deep Gold Faceted Glass Beads [100]

Size/shape:  4mm round, faceted.

Colors/description:  Glass beads (not sure what the inner color is) with a deep-gold-colored coating.  This is not the usual coating found on metallic Czech beads, but something different.  It may be sythetic, but it feels very hard.  The supplier calls them "terra color fast gold" (I don't know what that means).
 
Hole size:  1mm (estimated).

Defects:  An occasional bead may be malformed, which is common with very small beads.  Also, fire-polished beads always have some imperfect facets.

How photographed:  At the window in natural daylight.

Comments:  The color of these beads is an exaggerated gold, almost orange.  As such, the beads look a little cheap and artificial.  However, they are suitable for costume jewelry.  They might be most effective if used sparingly, as accent beads.
