6mm Pink Opalescent AB "English Cut" Beads [50]
Style: G1803
Cost per bead: 6.4
Bead material: Glass
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Size/shape: 6mm round with molded triangular facets. "English cut" beads in the 4mm size tend to look like bicones, but in this size they look more round.
Colors/description: Milky or opalescent pink with a silvery AB coating on part of each bead.
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: These beads are very "rough". The molded facets are not smooth or perfect in any way. For more, please see the comments below.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: These beads are not well finished at all. The molded facets are very rough. They should only be used in casual jewelry. The reason the price isn't lower is that I got them from an expensive supplier. I purchased them from looking at pictures and couldn't see that they weren't well finished. They definitely have a cheap feeling to them. Added later: Despite being a poorly finished, "English cut" beads in general have sold very well, so I expect to carry more of them. I'm not sure what the appeal is, but a lot of people like them.
