Translucent light pink with a gold coating which was washed in acid to make it matte. |

1mm (estimated). |
Defects: |
The beads appear to be in good shape, although the picture revealed that a few beads have dirt in the glass. |
How photographed: |
Under two daylight-balanced lamps. Note: Using lamps leaves two bright spots on each bead -- especially on round beads -- but that can't be helped. Also, the close-up shot may show defects that the human eye can't discern. |
Comments: |
My picture is accurate if you look at the beads under yellowish artificial light. When viewed under daylight-balanced lamps (or in daylight itself), the pink color will shift slightly towards the purple. Unfortunately, the picture doesn't show the gold coating very well. These beads are a little unusual for me. I generally don't like the appearance of beads which are coated (as these are with a gold color) and then washed in acid to make them matte. But the supplier's picture looked interesting, so I got them. |

(more in stock -- I over-purchased these beads and posted them under two numbers; what a mess) |
