It grieves me to post such nice beads with such a lousy picture. On the day that I took the picture, the light from the window just wasn't good enough to get a good image, so I had to add some lamplight. The lamplight puts an ugly dot on the top of each bead, and also causes other small dots to appear around the edges. Also, the picture doesn't show the gold-luster coating very well. When I look at the beads in real life, the gold-luster coating is much more prominent and tends to obscure some of the colors underneath. Even so, these are nice beads, and very sophisticated. The turquoise is a dark shade, with dark fuchsia mottling over it, and then the luster coating -- an interesting combination. But to really appreciate the appearance, you have to use a magnifying glass. That's the problem with very small beads: the details are hard to see. I should add that the price for these beads was pretty high, so I have to sell them for a little more. |
