These are premium beads from my supplier of premium beads, which is why they are so costly. The 3-petal flowers from this supplier have a slightly different shape than the 3-petal flowers from the supplier that I identify as "E". These flowers have more pronounced "petals" (protrusions), whereas the petals on the flowers from E are more subtle. Both types are nice. I have seen this combination -- turquoise with purple mottling -- before, and I like it. However, in this case the purple color is not very strong. Even so, I think these are very handsome beads. One other notable thing: Most of the 3-petal flowers from this supplier are 8mm deep. I don't know why these beads are more shallow, only 7mm. The shallower depth means that if you string several in a row, they sit together more snugly, as you can see in the picture. |
