8mm Gray/Mauve Faceted Cathedral Beads [25]
Style: F537
Beads per lot: 25
Cost per bead: 14 cents
Bead material: Glass
Country of origin: Czech Republic
Size/shape: 8mm (long) x 6mm (wide) "cathedral" beads. They have a molded pattern around the holes and 5 or 6 vertical facets around the middle.
Colors/description: Translucent light gray with a mauve/gold coating on the unfaceted molded areas near the holes.
Hole size: 1mm (estimated).
Defects: An occasional bead may be malformed. It isn't likely that you'll get such a bead, but if you do, please contact me.
How photographed: At the window in natural daylight.
Comments: These beads looked more interesting in the supplier's picture than they do in person. The picture shows them to be a very light gray, but in low light they can look darker. Being 8mm and slender, they are smaller than you might expect. They were quite expensive, but I nonetheless lowered the price recently from $3.90 per lot to $3.50.
