My camera doesn't reproduce all colors very well, and in this case it made the cobalt blue look a little like capri blue. So I used my photo-editing program to shift the color of the picture. That made the blue look more correct, but the shadows on the plate now look purplish, which isn't accurate. It's true that cobalt blue has a purplish quality to it, but the color behind the beads (caused by light passing through the beads) should be blue. Sometime this year I intend to upgrade to a better camera that should have better color reproduction. I have always used a good but inexpensive camera to photograph beads, but in my defense let me say that even the very best cameras don't reproduce all colors perfectly. Note: In January, 2020 I divided the remaining beads into lots, after which I found a bead on my desk. That means that one lot is likely to have 99 beads instead of 100. The only way to fix that would have been to count all the beads manually, and that was simply too much work. So one customer is likely to get a packet which is short one bead. If that is you, please let me know and I'll refund 4 cents to you. |
