This is one of the Czech "tiger" colors for which Czech manufacturers are famous. It used to be called "tiger eye", but now they call it "chroust" (a word I can't find in the dictionary, so I don't know what it means). The inner bead is black, and the exterior is a mixture of satiny brown and beige. I don't usually get the tiger colors in faceted shapes because the facets can sometimes expose the underlying black, which isn't supposed to show. However, the beads have such a complex appearance, I don't think it matters. |
